Jana holds a BA in English Literature, graduating from Indiana University with honors. She also holds a Master’s in Montessori Education with honors from St. Catherine Universoty, and state teaching certification in Indiana with a reading specialist endorsement.

Outside of Montessori teaching and instruction experiences, she worked for Indiana Governor’s University as a Clinical Supervisor for student teachers, at St Catherine University as a research advisor for graduate students, and at Indiana University Southeast teaching world literature and writing in the School Arts and Letters.
